Malaysia Election Day - Sunday, May 5, 2013

10-04-2013 - Election Commission today announced the date of nomination and polling dates for general elections 2013 the Malaysian government. The candidates nomination date is on 20 April 2013 and the date of polling is on May 5, 2013 corresponding to Sunday. The announcement was made by the Chairman of the EC, the EC Headquarters at 12.30 pm today.

Malaysia's 13 million people are eligible to vote in this election. A total of 222 parliamentary seats and 505 state seats contested.
