Goalline Technology for FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
At the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, FIFA to bring the Goalline technology to help the referee decide whether the goal was valid or not. This technology is supported by 14 high-speed cameras at all 12 World Cup stadiums and the message "GOAL" will be sent to the referee through his watch when the ball over the goal. This is the official supplier of technology based in Germany GoalControl have tested this system in TIVOLI stadium in Aachen, Germany, and was awarded as the first stadium in Germany equipped with FIFA recognized Goalline technology.
